Consistency isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing it again. Small behaviours, repeated, compound into real change. Swipe through to check where your pension habits actually stand. ➡️

Your “why” drives long term behaviour. A pension is future income replacement.
If you can’t explain its purpose, you won’t prioritise it consistently.

Tax relief boosts every pound you contribute meaning your pension receives more than you personally pay in.
Example: If you contribute £100 into a personal pension:
- As a basic rate taxpayer, you pay £80. HMRC adds £20.
- As a higher rate taxpayer, your £100 contribution effectively costs £60.
- As an additional rate taxpayer, your £100 contribution can effectively cost £55 once all relief is claimed.
Consistency becomes easier when you understand how the system rewards regular saving. You’re getting aguaranteed uplift every time you contribute.

If you can’t explain why your pension matters to you, that’s the first thing to fix. Purpose is what makes consistency stick. Send a DM if you’d like help getting clear on yours.

The State Pension is £241.30 a week. Is that enough the life you want?

For most of us, the honest answer is no. And that’s not a criticism, it’s just the reality.

The State Pension is a foundation, not a plan. What sits on top, your workplace pension, your ISAs, your savings, that’s where your choices matter.

Have you checked your State Pension forecast?

Planning for your retirement is hard. Realizing your future doesn’t match the life you’ve worked for is harder. Just like in Pilates, everything starts with alignment. Getting clear on the future you’re actually trying to build. Stability comes from the small, steady financial habits that support you. And consistency is where the real transformation happens. Your future self deserves the life you’re working for today.

A stable future starts with a stable target. Swipe through to check whether your pension foundation is built for future you. ➡️

Your contribution rate is one of the biggest levers you control.
Stability comes from understanding what’s going in and whether it’s enough.

If you can’t access your pension information easily, you can’t manage it.
Stability requires visibility and regular review.

The full new State Pension (current rate) is: £241.30 per week / £12,547.60 per year.
This forms part of your retirement baseline.

You can check your National Insurance record and State Pension forecast on the official government website: https://www.gov.uk/check-national-insurance-record
This shows your contributions, any gaps, and what you’re projected to receive. Stability comes from knowing your guaranteed income floor. You can also top up if you have missing years of national insurance contributions.

There are two different ages you need to understand:

Minimum pension access age (private pensions):
Currently 55. Increasing to 57 from April 2028 This applies to most Defined Contribution pensions.

State Pension age:
Currently 67. Planned to rise to 68 between 2044 and 2046. These increases are phased and subject to periodic government review.

Stability requires planning around both timelines- when you can access your private pension savings and when the State Pension begins.

No guesswork, no vague hope, just knowing your numbers and whether they add up. That’s what stability actually looks like. Send a DM if you’d like help getting clear on your own numbers.

Your private pension access age is changing. Right now the minimum age you can access your private pension is 55. From April 2028, that rises to 57. That’s two years away.

If you were planning to access your pension before 57, this affects your timeline. Worth checking in with your plan now rather than later.

This is exactly why staying close to your finances matters. Not obsessively, just consistently.

Did you know this was changing?
