D has made fantastic progress in developing her CV and building her confidence around her career goals.
After arriving in the UK from Iran, D brought with her a strong foundation in statistical and analytical skills - expertise that continues to be highly valuable in today’s job market. With the right support, she has been able to recognise the strength of her experience and position it effectively for UK employers.

Together, we worked on ensuring her international experience was clearly reflected in her CV, highlighting how her skills are directly transferable to roles within the UK.
With guidance from her Employment Adviser, D has also developed a clear understanding of UK CV expectations - from structure and formatting to confidently presenting her achievements, while removing unnecessary personal details to promote a fair and unbiased application process.

D’s journey is a great example of how recognising your strengths and adapting your experience can open new doors. We’re excited to see where she goes next! 🚀

CLIENT SUCCESS STORY🎉

Client T came to BOOST with a strong desire to continue her education and rebuild her career after arriving in the UK. She previously worked as a teacher and speaks four languages fluently, with a clear ambition to become an interpreter. Despite successfully completing ESOL Level 2, Maths, and English, she faced financial barriers that prevented her from progressing further.

BOOST supported the client by exploring suitable education pathways and securing funding to help her continue her studies.

She has now enrolled in a Level 3 Interpreting course and has already begun her learning journey, bringing her closer to meaningful employment in the future.
This story shows how determination, combined with the right support, can open doors to new opportunities

Hafsa came to BOOST with strong experience in customer service and reception, and she was eager to find opportunities in retail, hospitality, or security. She already held an SIA badge and had been searching for work for quite some time, but despite many applications she hadn’t yet secured the right role.

At BOOST, advisers worked closely with Hafsa, taking time to understand her goals and personal circumstances. Together they improved her CV, created a strong cover letter, explored job opportunities, and prepared her for interviews. Hafsa also attended local work fairs and connected with a hospitality agency to widen her options.

Thanks to the support of the team—and a helpful contact shared by a colleague—Hafsa successfully passed an interview and secured a job as a Security Officer.

Tip of the Week 💡

Offer help to your network before asking for favours.
Building strong professional relationships starts with generosity. When you lead with support—sharing resources, making introductions, or offering your expertise—you create trust and goodwill that naturally comes back around.
Small actions today can open big doors tomorrow. 🤝✨
