Are you aware that under new HMRC rules you must now submit a Claim Notification before making an R&D claim if you have either not claimed within the past 3 years, or your claim was for a period beginning before 1 April 2023?
The notification must be submitted within 6 months of your year end. For example, if your year end is March 2025, the notification deadline will be 30 September 2025. If you miss this deadline then (unless an exemption applies) your claim for that period will be permanently lost.
