Is Procurement Adding Value to Your Organisation?
We have been working with several Local Government clients on a number of projects, supporting their existing commercial and procurement teams with targeted saving initiatives, both through focused procurement activity and improved contract management, as part of wider transformation activities.
We have undertaken strategic reviews with key stakeholders across a number of Local Government clients, with similar outcomes:
>Capacity and capability of the Procurement team
>Poor Contract Management disciplines
>Lack of quality training and support for Procurement and Stakeholders
>Lack of integrated planning
>Limited cash savings being delivered through Procurement
>No real ambition to maximise value from social value and the * local community.
>Opportunities to revise Contract Standing Orders and manage risk proportionately
The Quantum 360 team have been supporting our Local Government clients in facing head-on some of their challenges in delivering economic and social benefits to residents, with restricted budgets and the need for further cost savings.
We have recently developed a Sustainable Commercial Strategy for one large London Borough, as they bring an outsourced service back in-house in parallel with supporting the Council to achieve its new Corporate Plan and Net Zero targets. We have also developed an implementation plan, which we are now delivering to the Council to embed the changes and improve commercial performance.
As part of our work with Local Government, Quantum 360 is also delivering training to both Commercial and Service teams to enhance internal capability in driving contract management performance and commercial skills.

Kevin Bates, our CEO would be happy to discuss our experience and how Quantum 360 can help drive greater value through Procurement.
