Another beautiful day in the office a couple of weeks ago and another exciting arrival to
The Starlink by is a revolutionary satellite internet system that further advances the wireless trend and rewrites the script on the foundational requirements for internet connectivity.
As we have some of the fastest internet connections in the world at our offices in 100 Bishopsgate this system will not be installed here but will be put to use at one of our far more rural locations.
Elon Musk is one of the most positive influences on the world in 2021 and we as a company will continue to support his work wherever appropriate.

I first came across Bitcoin in 2013, I was working in FX sales at Hermex FX in the City of London and it was after I became responsible for publishing the morning market report, which required I digested the international financial news everyday.

Later that year in the 08:30 morning meeting, in the conference room overlooking Broadgate Circle, I pitched buying 10 coins at roughly £100 each, although admittedly I wasn't looking at it as an investment.

I proclaimed "we can use it as a marketing gimmick, we sell so many currencies... we even sell Bitcoin". Unsurprisingly it was laughed off and we moved on with the meeting.

Years later at IFX in Mayfair I continued to follow Bitcoin while again publishing a daily market report as chief currency strategist and it was here that I really began to understand the potential of this new asset class.

Flash forward to today, Monday 4th January, the first trading day of 2021 and to be starting the first new calendar year, standing in the offices of my own company with Bitcoin on the front page of The Financial Times will be a moment I’ll never forget.

While today will forever be remembered for other reasons, this remains my moment of today.

The lobby at 100 Bishopsgate is looking suitably festive this afternoon while today marks the last day in the office for many and with just a fortnight till Christmas.
We’ll be in the office throughout next week and even enjoying a few socially distanced evening drinks with our clients and partners.
In case we don’t get another chance to do so, we’d like to take this opportunity to say a gargantuan thank you to anyone who has put their faith in us this year and been a part of our journey so far.
While 2020 will go down in history for many (along with magazine) as the ‘worst year in history’ for obvious reasons we look back on it as bitter sweet.

Doe Zantamata once said:
“It is only in our darkest hours that we may discover the true strength of the brilliant light within ourselves that can never, ever, be dimmed.”

A sunset view of our offices from a different perspective.
As a truly global marketplace, the FX market is open 24 hours a day, from Sunday night when the market opens in New Zealand at 23:00 (London GMT+1) all the way through till Friday night, when the market closes in Toronto, Canada at 22:00.
As a result Bronte-Stewart Capital was founded as a 24 hour brokerage, available at any time of day for registered clients who’s lives are often international by nature.
Nevertheless on Tuesday 3rd November Bronte-Stewart Capital will be open and we will be at our desks in our offices at 100 Bishopsgate to cover the fallout of the results of the U.S. Presidential Election.
The first polls close on the East Coast at 19:00 local time (01:00 GMT+1) with results beginning to flow in from then and with an official result expected at 02:30 EST (08:30 GMT+1)
This will be the first of many 24 hour trading sessions at the Bronte-Stewart Capital London offices with the next one most likely to be held on the 31st January for the end of the Brexit transition agreement.
Incidentally please submit all trading account applications by 12:00 (GMT+1) on 30th October in order to guarantee your account is active and authorised to trade by the event, otherwise unfortunately you’ll have to strap in and watch the market unfold as a bystander.
We continue to feel that the market-participants have underestimated and overly discounted the possibility of another surprise Trump victory and therefore unsurprisingly feel that this outcome would cause the most dramatic price volatility in all financial markets.

A sincere thank you to everyone at for hosting a truly incredible golf day on Tuesday, under some of toughest of circumstances and in support of an amazing cause.
They have already impressively reached their target of £10,000.00 for for which on the day, we played 1,000 holes (27 each) nevertheless the link will remain in our bio for another week and please give what you can.
Congratulations to for the victory, having launched under restrictions it was our first ever company golf day and one we now hope to make an annual fixture.
Huge thank you to for hosting, it’s a truly beautiful course (ranked 51st in England) and definitely one any keen golfer should put on their list.
Finally thank you to for providing amazing vegan delicacies throughout the day and to for their gift and as they were the group behind us, the opportunity to see them hit greens for fun (or hole out for eagle) all day.
