Financial statements are a requirement for Limited Companies and involves the filing of financial information at Companies House.

They are due to be filed 9 months after your year end.

So if you started your business in e.g. December 2020 - your year end would be 31 December 2021. You then have until September 2022 (December + 9 months) to file your financial statements with Companies House.

If you have all the bookkeeping up to date and need the information to be pulled together in the correct format using HMRC approved software - book a consultation with us and we can get to work! We aim to file accounts within 3 months of the year end (as it makes it easier for everyone involved and lets us steer well clear of fines and penalties!)
