Interesting how often pet services get labelled as “luxuries.”
Personally, I see it differently.
I think owning a dog is the luxury.
Caring for it properly is the responsibility that comes with it.
Because once someone chooses to have a dog, things like:
* exercise
* grooming
* training
* care
* enrichment
aren’t really “optional extras” for the dog.
They’re part of responsible ownership.
Yes, not every owner will use a dog walker or groomer.
But that doesn’t automatically make the service itself a luxury.
A lot of the time, people are paying for support because they physically can’t meet every need alone due to work, health, time or circumstance.
