One thing I get asked a lot...' which accounting software should I use?' Having worked with various software over the years, my honest answer is, it depends on you. Your business size, whether you've got staff, how comfortable you are with tech, and what you actually need from it day-to-day.

My go-to recommendation for most small businesses is Xero. It's intuitive, mobile-friendly, and I'm certified to help you get set up properly. But if you're already on something else and it's working for you, that's fine too. I can work with most major platforms.

It might not seem like a big deal, but mixing personal and business spending can make bookkeeping much harder than it needs to be.

A separate account makes it easier to:

✔️ Keep accurate records
✔️ See how your business is really performing
✔️ Save time at tax return time
