Barrons team had the pleasure of attending an inspiring event hosted by Group this week, featuring Olympic legend Whitlock

"What an amazing morning spent in the company of our many friends at NatWest Group and the incredible Max Whitlock.

As a sports fan, I did not need asking twice to meet an absolute legend in Olympic history.

As a businessman and entrepreneur, as is always the case when meeting sporting greats in my opinion, there is much to learn from the dedication and fortitude that legends like Max display to achieve the accolades and success that they enjoy. It is the same in business in my opinion.

Life and business, whatever your focus, will never be a smooth trajectory, Max highlighted personal challenges that arose along his pathway to success, and his focus upon beating the odds and sustaining greatness into the future was exhilarating to witness.

Well done NatWest Group – an amazing morning that pumped adrenaline a few notches higher on a Monday! Success breeds success, and the messaging and focus today was on point!"

Play on the Pitch is always a great reminder of how brilliant the Southend community is 💙

It was amazing to see so many local businesses come together at Roots Hall to support the incredible work does for local families.

A huge well done to our own Ray and Josh who absolutely smashed it on the pitch... although we’re not entirely convinced the ref was watching the same game as everyone else 👀

It was such a close game and an amazing effort from everyone involved!

And a massive shoutout to the talented dancers from Studios who completely stole the show at half-time!

We always love supporting events like this and being part of such a supportive local community. Already looking forward to next year!
