A huge congratulations to Josh Edwards on successfully passing his final AAT exam. He is now officially a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians 🎉🎉

Josh joined Mapus in 2023 and since then has gained valuable experience whilst studying, growing into a valued member of our audit department.

Josh will now be progressing onto the Chartered qualification, taking the next important step in his professional career within the accounting industry.

On the 31st March we celebrated a very special milestone as one of our valued team members begins their semi-retirement.

After almost 50 years of service, Angela Cook has decided that now is the time to slow down.

Going forward, Angela will be working a few hours a week for us, allowing us to ensure her handover process is as smooth as possible.

While we’re not saying a full goodbye just yet, we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible contribution that Angela has made over the years. Her hard work, dedication, and support have meant so much to the business and to everyone who’s had the pleasure of working with her.

As Angela moves on to this exciting new chapter, we hope it’s filled with relaxation, happiness, and plenty of time to enjoy the things she loves most.

We wish Angela a long, healthy, and happy retirement— she has more than earned it! 🎉

On the last Friday of each month , our team take part in a ‘dress down day’.

On ‘dress down day’ all staff are welcome to come in casual attire in exchange for donations to the @8:56 foundation. This brilliant local charity aims to raise awareness, increase the profile and reduce the stigmas associated with men’s mental health.

So far, we have raised almost £500 for the charity via our dress down days

Easter means the start of the new tax year, and with that the introduction of Making tax digital (MTD).
