ALL EMPLOYERS/EMPLOYEES
Please see below for changes to SSP (statutory sick pay) coming into effect for employees from April 2026. Key Changes from April 2026
Day One Payment: The current three waiting days before SSP kicks in are abolished, with payments starting from the first day of sickness.
Universal Eligibility: The Lower Earnings Limit (LEL) is removed, meaning low-paid, part-time, and zero-hours workers will qualify.
SSP will be the lower of:
80% of the employee's average weekly earnings.
The standard flat rate (expected around £123.25/week).

It may be a bit early to speak of Christmas opening hours but hey ho ho ho!!
This year I am having more than my normal 3 days off over Christmas! We will be closed from 23-27th Dec inclusive and 31st Dec to 1st Jan inclusive.
Please note any payroll due between those dates will be processed as normal 👍
With that in mind I’m trying to get ahead for the January rush, therefore if all clients could get their paperwork etc in to us asap it would be much appreciated 😃😃
