We are pleased to announce that Amy Brown has been promoted to Partner at Ellacotts.

Amy joins the Ellacotts partnership within our Agriculture and Property team, marking an important milestone in a career that began with Ellacotts in 2017, when she joined the firm as a newly qualified accountant. Since then, Amy has progressed through management, consistently demonstrating technical expertise, strong client relationships and a genuine commitment to the firm and its people.

Based in our Kettering office, Amy is passionate about supporting both new and existing clients with specialist, agricultural focussed advice. Advising clients on family tax planning for both Income Tax and Inheritance Tax, complex trusts and their administration, capital gains tax planning and annual compliance.

Amy also looks forward to continuing Ellacotts’ organic growth, working closely with colleagues across all of our offices.

Amy’s progression reflects our commitment to developing talent from within and supporting long‑term careers at Ellacotts.

Today marked the final Trainee Assessment Day of this season at our Kettering office, and it wrapped up on a real high note.

We welcomed an enthusiastic group of applicants who brought energy, curiosity, and a genuine appetite to learn. A standout moment of the day was our interactive Bingo activity, which encouraged trainees to meet and engage with a wide mix of our Ellacotts colleagues. It opened the door to conversations you don’t often get in a typical assessment setting and gave everyone a real sense of what it’s like to grow and thrive here, both within Ellacotts and along the ICAEW training journey.

Seeing so much potential in one room makes us incredibly excited for the future, and we hope to see many familiar faces joining our team soon.
