Last night I was humbled to win to S A Parker Prize from the Chartered Insurance Institute for achieving the best results in my Diploma in Financial Planning, I completed last year.

I am pleased to share that I have qualified to be included in the .co.uk Guide to Top Rated Financial Advisers 2026.

The guide is independently produced by VouchedFor and is distributed nationally in and , as well as being available online. It highlights advisers who consistently deliver high levels of client service and professionalism.

Advisers cannot apply to be included. Qualification is based on verified client reviews, maintaining a high average rating and passing ongoing checks. I am especially proud that this recognition is driven entirely by client feedback.

For those who know me well, you will understand just how much this means to me.....

Wildlife is my true passion, and today I am incredibly proud to share that Parallel Wealth Management is now a Gold Corporate Member of the Essex Wildlife Trust, a charity very close to my heart.

I'm also pleased that I can support the great work of the Legacy Team, I feel genuinely overjoyed that my role can help support the Essex Wildlife Trust. I am excited to see how this collaboration will grow and the positive impact we can make together.

I am very pleased to share that I have passed the R06 exam with the CII and have now been awarded the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

This is a solid milestone in my journey and one I am genuinely proud of. The process has taken commitment, consistency and many late evenings, but it has been worth every step.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I am excited to continue building my knowledge and progressing in my career in financial planning.

On to the next chapter.

When I first started my journey into financial planning, one of my core motivations was to educate the next generation about the importance of financial planning and knowledge.

Yesterday, I was privileged, alongside my colleague Henry , to present just that to the Sixth Form students of Ipswich High School .

The engagement from the students was fantastic. Their questions, enthusiasm and willingness to learn made the session incredibly rewarding. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the quiz we ran at the end was a great success.

It is inspiring to see young people so invested in understanding their financial futures. Moments like this remind me exactly why I chose this profession.

Today marks the start of a new chapter.
I have graduated from the St. James’s Place Adviser Academy and am now an accredited Financial Planner, appointed representative of St. James’s Place and authorised by the FCA.

The journey to this point has been full of learning, reflection and incredible people who have shaped the adviser I am today. Now it is time to put that into practice and start having the conversations that can truly change lives.

Last night, I had the pleasure of joining for an insightful evening of tasting and discussion at Mortimer House, exploring how sustainability and environmental responsibility are shaping the future of winemaking.

We learned how producers like are not only reducing their environmental impact, but also crafting wines of exceptional quality as a direct result.

It’s a powerful reminder that doing good for the planet can also mean doing better for your palate, and perhaps even for your portfolio.

This week I have been in Bristol and this evening I made a trip to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, looking out over the Avon Gorge, I can’t help but think about the story behind it.

Back in 1754, a Bristol merchant left £1,000 in his will with one dream: one day, this money would build a bridge here.

Decades later, a 24-year-old engineer named Isambard Kingdom Brunel turned that dream into reality. He designed a bridge so strong that when the 1896 earthquake hit Bristol, it passed the ultimate “Stress Test” and stood firm. More than 150 years on, it’s still here.

And it makes me realise - this is what good financial planning should do too:
• Start small, like £1,000 left to grow.
• Have a clear design for the long term.
• Be robust enough to withstand life’s unexpected shocks.

Brunel didn’t just build a bridge. He built a legacy.

It was really interesting learning more about the economics behind art works and prints. As a financial adviser, I can definitely see how people are able to align their passions with their investments — and getting up close to some of the pieces really brought that to life.

On top of that, I met some genuinely fascinating people and had some brilliant conversations.
