Just a quick heads-up for local business owners.

We’re seeing more of these posts doing the rounds in local community groups at the minute and when the exact same wording is being posted from different profiles, that’s a serious red flag.

Before sending over any personal details, financial information, or access to your books, please make sure you know exactly who you’re dealing with. A quick check now could save a lot of stress and a very costly mistake later. Similar copy-and-paste posts across local Facebook groups are a known warning sign.

Yesterday we had a call from a lady who had just 24 hours left to prepare and file her Capital Gains Tax return after selling a property.
