We are now in July which means the first half of the year is now in the rear view, where does the time go?! I'm pleased to announce that the business has been performing very well this year and that Westbourne Wealth Management is growing steadily. As such, it is my pleasure to announce our new Administrative Assistant, Jacqui Dalgleish, who will oversee the administrative functions of the business, ensuring smoother processes and enhanced support for our valued clients.

Having Jacqui as part of the team will allow me to focus more on proactively growing the business and assisting existing clients. You can expect to hear from Jacqui sometime soon with any relevant updates and invitations to upcoming review meetings.

In February of this year, I had the pleasure of attending The Glasgow Academy London Section's annual dinner where I was proud to be the headline sponsor of the event.

This year it was in none other than the House of Lords and it was great to catch up with fellow ex-pupils, meet the new Rector and Lord Kerr or Kinlochard who we have to thank for being there.

Hello everyone! We’d like to share some exciting news about the business. We are delighted to announce that Westbourne Wealth Management has recently been presented with and accepted the opportunity to merge its business with Gilson Gray Financial Management LLP (GGFM).

GGFM are part of the wider Gilson Gray group which is a full-service law firm, estate agency and lettings company with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, North Berwick and Dundee.

The GGFM merger will not only allow us to offer more solutions to our clients but with their administrative support and guidance we will be able to now offer an even higher level of service. One of the most important and useful investments an individual can make is creating and contributing into a pension. By investing a small amount each month early on in life, a pension fund can "snowball" and the cumulative contributions can result in a large pot to draw down from at retirement. In addition to excellent growth opportunities a pension can also have great tax advantages, particularly for the self-employed, for both Income and Inheritance tax.
