ars. Indigo has a strong charitable focus and supports the Nkuringo Foundation in Uganda, where they sponsor a child – Maria – . On 3rd September 2015 they will be holding ‘IndigoFest’ at The Horsham Capitol Theatre. An evening of music, hosted by Tim Vine, showcasing established acts alongside the best in local talent, raising further funds for the Nkuringo Foundation.

The Indigo Tax and Accounting team spent a lovely afternoon at Goodwood House, enjoying afternoon tea and a guided tour of the house as we celebrated three very special long service milestones. 🎉

A huge congratulations to Sonia on 10 years, Amanda on 20 years and Chris on an incredible 23 years with Indigo, we’re very lucky to have them. 🤩

That’s a lot of accounts, a lot of tax returns, a lot of client support and, most importantly, a lot of experience, knowledge and care within the team.

And yes, Indie was mostly interested in the cakes (he knows his strengths 🤣).

If something doesn’t feel clear, that could be expenses, cash flow, dividends, or how much tax to set aside, it’s always better to ask sooner rather than later.

Small questions now can prevent bigger surprises later, and having regular conversations with your accountant helps you stay confident and in control.

Did you know business mileage rates are changing? 🚗

The approved mileage allowance for employees using their own cars and vans for business travel is increasing from 45p to 55p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles, backdated to April 2026. The 25p rate above 10,000 miles remains unchanged.

For businesses with employees regularly travelling for work, this is an important update to be aware of. 💡

🐼 A gentle reminder from Indigo: keeping accurate mileage records matters just as much as knowing the rates themselves.
