Horsham-based Indigo Tax & Accountancy provide accountancy and taxation advice for individuals and small to mid-sized local businesses. They support clients from all industries, from all over the UK and abroad and also provide a specialist service for clients working in the entertainment industry. Indigo has grown to a firm of 11 staff and has been trading as a limited company now for almost 12 ye

ars. Indigo has a strong charitable focus and supports the Nkuringo Foundation in Uganda, where they sponsor a child – Maria – . On 3rd September 2015 they will be holding ‘IndigoFest’ at The Horsham Capitol Theatre. An evening of music, hosted by Tim Vine, showcasing established acts alongside the best in local talent, raising further funds for the Nkuringo Foundation.

Team Indigo are walking for Horsham Matters. 🐼

On 19 September, Teresa and the Indigo Tax and Accountancy Ltd team are taking part in the 20km Community and Corporate Walk to raise money for Horsham Matters. The charity provides food, support and a friendly face for local people across Horsham District who are hungry and unsure where to turn. Every donation helps keep that support local.

Indie has not confirmed whether he’ll be doing the full 20km or requesting to be carried, but the team would be very grateful for any support you can give.

Move over Indie, Hamish has been on some training courses! 🐾

For International Dog Day, we thought it was only right to share Hamish getting fully involved in the world of Making Tax Digital. He listened carefully, took it all in, and has now requested that all future tax updates come with treats.

Making Tax Digital is something many business owners still have questions about, and we know it can feel like another thing to understand when you’re already busy running a business.

The good news is, you don’t have to work it all out on your own. At Indigo, we’re here to help clients understand what applies to them, get the right systems in place and feel more confident about the move to digital record keeping.

Running a business is busy enough without your accounts turning into another full-time job. 🐼

There are invoices to send, bills to pay, receipts to keep, expenses to check, deadlines to remember and bank transactions that always seem obvious at the time, but somehow become a mystery later. A little bit of regular attention can make a big difference.

Where is everyone watching the eclipse this evening? 🌘

We’ve got two sheets of white card ready, Liam is planning to film it with a special filter of some sort, and the eclipse glasses we ordered are arriving tomorrow, which is, naturally, extremely helpful. 🤣

Indie has a pair of tiny glasses to wear as pandas need their eyes protecting too! 🐼

Indie had a very important pre-wedding outing on Friday. 🐼

Declan and Chels spent the evening watching Tim Vine as Plastic Elvis at The Crabtree pub, with Indie joining them for the occasion. A night out, a panda chaperone and a wedding meant they had quite the weekend!

Huge congratulations to Declan and Chels, who got married on Saturday. The Indigo team wishes you both every happiness as you start married life together. 🎉
