Ten years at PWM—where has that time gone!

It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in my first ever interview, fresh out of high school at 17, trying to figure out if choosing a different path from my friends was the right move. Looking back, I’m grateful I took the chance.

I have been well and truly spoilt with a lovely meal out at Devour at the Dyehouse following by some team building activities at The Light Huddersfield on Friday night, plus a beautiful bunch of flowers which were presented to me today.

Here’s to the next decade!

Absolutely buzzing to see brass banding featured on the local news tonight! 🎺🎶 Brass bands are such a huge part of Yorkshire’s heritage, and I feel so lucky to be part of this incredible community. Grateful for all the experiences and friendships it’s brought me over the years.
But for this amazing tradition to keep going strong, we need more people to get involved — whether it’s picking up an instrument, volunteering, or simply turning up to support your local band.
My own band, Old Silkstone Band, had a great day winning the Best 1st Section band today! 🏆👏 Congrats to all the bands who took part.

Meet Cassie

This week, Cassie and her bother Carlos have been commuting to the office due to the renovations happening at home.

It's tough sometimes managing a work life balance, particularly whilst home looks like a building site. Having a flexible work environment helps reduce that stress. Other than the car ride in, I think Cassie looks pretty relaxed in the office.

A surprise from a very happy client this morning.
He is now able to choose to work rather than have to, due to the planning we have put in place.
Having financial freedom and flexibility is what everyone hopes to achieve for their future.
