We are a rural accountancy practice seeking a new staff member to join our team, predominantly supporting with accounts and tax return preparation, along with reviewing the work of other team members. This role offers genuine opportunities for progression for the right candidate.
We are looking for the right person to become part of our close-knit and supportive business. Both part-time and full-time hours will be considered, with flexibility around working days and times.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Working knowledge of IRIS, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- At least 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A flexible, team-oriented approach with a client-focused mindset.
We are a small, friendly practice and pride ourselves on being different from the typical accountancy firm.
The role can be based at our Bakewell or Chapel-en-le-Frith (Combs) office. Due to the rural locations, a full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
An interest in or knowledge of farming would be advantageous. Salary and working hours will be dependent on experience and suitability.
