After a long summer with the children at home, juggling family life, work and everything in between, it’s been a real challenge to find time for myself and for networking.

So today felt particularly special ❤️

I finally had the opportunity to get out, spend some time with the Watford Chamber of Commerce at Watford Cycling Hub, reconnect with the wonderful Amanda Grimston and make some new connections along the way.

It was such a lovely day and the children came along with their bikes, which they were absolutely delighted about!

They also had the chance to learn about road safety, making it a meaningful experience for them too.

I always love being back at the heart of the Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce (W3RT)

As the summer holidays come to an end, I’m looking forward to September, a fresh start, and a successful new academic year both for the children and for all the exciting opportunities ahead.

12 years of Goods for Good— and a cause close to my heart 💛

I still remember the day I met Ross through the Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce (W3RT) I was struck straight away by her energy and her drive — but it was hearing her talk about the children of Moldova that really stayed with me. You could tell this wasn’t just a charity project for her; it was personal, and it showed in every word.

Today I was honoured to join Goods for Good UK as they celebrated 12 years of turning that drive into real, tangible help — millions of goods delivered to communities in crisis across Moldova, Ukraine, Iraq, South Sudan and beyond.

And then I saw the Moldova flag right at the entrance. I won’t lie, it caught me off guard emotionally. As a Romanian, knowing this charity has stood by our neighbours in Moldova, by children who are so often forgotten, means more than I can properly put into words. It’s a reminder that somewhere in Watford, people are quietly doing something about the pain so many of our people carry.

We’re proud to support Goods for Good with our bookkeeping, because work like this deserves to be free to focus on the mission, not the paperwork. Great meeting the majority of the team today!

Three years of business exposure.
Three times a finalist. 🏆

I’ve just been nominated as a finalist for the SME Awards the 3rd time— twice this year:

1. Business Woman of the Year 2026 under the dns accountants umbrella— and this one feels different.
2. Connect to Connect has also been nominated for Networking Business of the Year 2026.

Not because the road has been smooth. It hasn’t.

This past year brought partnership disputes, business challenges I didn’t see coming, personal storms that changes my life’s trajectory, and the kind of pressure that makes you question everything you’ve built.

And yet — here we are.

What I’ve come to understand is that real growth doesn’t always look polished. It doesn’t always feel good. Sometimes it’s messy, vulnerable, and incredibly quiet.

But it’s sustainable— because it’s honest.

Every challenge taught me something. Every hard conversation, every setback, every moment of doubt — they didn’t stop the growth. They *were* the growth.

If there’s one thing I’d tell anyone navigating a difficult season in business or life: **persistence outlasts everything.**

Not perfection. Not a flawless plan. Just the decision to keep going — with integrity, with purpose, and with belief that what goes around comes around.

To everyone who has believed in my journey, to my community, to my clients, to my business partners — thank you. This is for us. 🙏

Some days remind you that trust, vision, and shared values matter more than any commercial outcome.

When expectations and reality don’t align, it’s easy to question yourself or feel disappointed. But moments like that are also a reminder to come back to who you are, what you stand for, and the values you want to carry forward.

A business relationship should never define your worth or diminish your character. Challenges reveal things — about others, but also about your own resilience.

Today I spent part of the day working at DARCY’S in Hemel — such a comforting place and one I’d genuinely recommend if you need space to think, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Tomorrow is another day, and values still matter.

What an incredible way to spend the 1st of May at the Bushey Metropolitan, alongside Watford Chamber and Bizz Club London.

There’s something truly powerful about communities coming together — people from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences, all united by a shared vision of growth and contribution to society.

It was inspiring to see collaboration, connection, and genuine support in action.

We were especially proud that our branch, dns accountants Watford & Hemel Hempstead, had the opportunity to sponsor the event. Being part of such an uplifting and forward-thinking community is what drives us to keep supporting local businesses and initiatives.

This means:
- quarterly reporting
- digital record-keeping
