We are so grateful to see the tech ecosystem coming together to support the UK’s only national ❤️

When we founded Women in Tech Week three years ago, the ambition was simple, to create something that brought everyone together. A week that celebrates women in tech, creates opportunities to learn and connect, and importantly, ensures those opportunities reach women right across the UK, from our biggest cities to our smaller towns and local communities.

We cannot do that without our amazing supporters, and we definitely cannot do it without YOU!

Next week is your final opportunity to get an event onto our master calendar of FREE events.

If there isn’t an event happening in your town, city or county, create one! It doesn’t need to be huge or complicated. Get 5–10 people together over a coffee, host a lunch and learn, organise a webinar, run a panel or simply create a space for women to connect.

Every event counts, and every conversation helps us reach another woman.

So let’s do this together. Let’s make Women in Tech Week truly national, with opportunities for women in every corner of the UK ❤️

Just ONE WEEK TO GO until we announce our 2026 TechWomen100 Award winners! 🎉❤️

Next week on 2 Sept, we’ll be revealing the names of 100 incredible women who are building products, solving complex problems, driving innovation and making an impact across AI, cyber, data, engineering, product and so many other areas of technology.

They are also giving back, mentoring others, building communities, championing inclusion and showing the women coming through behind them just what is possible.

At a time when women still make up just 20% of the tech industry, shining a spotlight on female tech talent matters.

A huge congratulations to every woman nominated this year. Whether your name appears on our winners list or not, please keep doing what you’re doing, keep being visible and keep being role models for those we hope will follow in our footsteps.

We cannot wait to reveal this year’s winners.

We’ve been busy over the summer, loading more and more events on to this year’s National Women in Tech Week calendar, and what a week it is shaping up to be!

We’re working with corporates, charities, not-for-profits, EdTech providers and Women in Tech networks, all with one ambition, to bring events to as many major cities across the country as possible.

There are already lots of brilliant FREE virtual and in-person events available to book, with more being added to our master calendar every single day. And you don’t have to work in tech to attend, everyone is welcome!

So, take a look at the calendar, find an event near you and book your free place.
