‘What should we do?’
‘How should we stand?’
‘Should we use one of your business cards in place of ‘the big cheque’?’ 😆

Honestly, getting this photo was non-stop laughter from start to finish 😂

Back at The Business Hive Live event last month, we decided that we would draw a business card at random from our bowl and we would then donate £100 to a charity of that person’s choice.

So who did we pull out? The lovely Darryl Simpson from Anchor Assist 🤩

When asking which charity he’d like to donate to, he answered with

He then told me that exactly 7 years ago to that day, he’d brought his beautiful girl Betsy home from The Ark, so it was meant to be 🥹

A pleasure to donate to such a wonderful charity and thank you for bringing much happiness to my day Darryl 🤩🩷

Happy Birthday Mr Stem! 👨🏼💚

You spend every other day putting us ladies first, but today is all about you 🥳 (normal service resumes tomorrow 😆)

But in all seriousness, hands down the best boss there is 🙌🏼

Have a great day Jim! 🎂🎈

Business Hive Live 2026 🐝💛

Bringing our office, to you 🪴 with non-stop chatting from the very beginning 🤩

Thank you to all who came to say hello, those who interacted with our ‘What’s your problem?’ board (replies to these coming soon 👀) the panel speakers and finally, the team for being on top form as always, despite the early start 😆

Now that the hangovers have dissipated 🥴

What an absolute BALL we all had at the The Business Hive GBSA award on Friday night 🪩✨

Even though we didn’t take home the win (huge congrats Coson IT Services 👏🏼) we were honestly just so honoured and proud to be finalists 🤩

We have the most amazing team who all work incredibly hard, so it’s such a compliment and reward in itself that being recognised 💚

However, we did get to grace the stage to accept an award on behalf of our good friends at lowercase theatre 🤩 whilst also having the pleasure of seeing our wonderful clients The Handmade Pie Company take home a well deserved 🥇 place, along with Simplifying Cleaning Limited taking home not just one, but TWO awards! With one being ‘Business of the Year’ 🤩 well, there were tears all round! 🥹 There’s nothing that makes the job more worthwhile than seeing your clients thrive and achieve. Huge well done to you all! 👏🏼

We had the best time sharing a table with our friends and neighbours Redgate Electrical Services Limited❤️
Much w**e was drank, many dance moves were thrown and we can’t wait to do it all again next year 🥂 and who knows, maybe next year will be our ‘third time lucky’… 🍀

Thank you so much to The Business Hive family for organising and putting on what was just such a fantastic night to showcase local businesses. You’re all AMAZING 🙌🏼

P.s. swipe to the last pic if you’re wondering how the night ended 🦆
