We have an exciting opportunity within our practice for a proactive, experienced individual to join us as an Office Administrator to support our growing team.
Are you the right person for the job?
• You will ideally have at least 2 + years’ experience of working in a professional office in an administrative/business support services position
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel & MS Outlook in particular)
• Bookkeeping experience an advantage
• Proactive in your approach to the role and the requirements of the firm
• Ability to communicate and interact with staff and clients on a professional level
• Able to organise, manage and control your own workload and adhere to client and office deadlines
• To demonstrate strong organisation skills, whilst also being flexible, keen, and personable
• You should take an enthusiastic and proactive approach to any given task and a willing to help when your colleagues need it.
What will your responsibilities be?
• Reception duties (phone calls, meet & greet visitors/clients)
• Dealing with daily post; scanning incoming & managing outgoing post, overseeing the receipt and safekeep of client records, dealing with couriers, etc.
• Client management and document filing
• Database management
• Client onboarding process
• Overseeing all office maintenance matters including, office supplies, and general office upkeep
• Provision of administrative support to the firm’s tax and accounting teams
• Preparing invoices and overseeing the work in progress position from our internal system
• Assistance with debt collection involving written and telephone communication
• Provide bookkeeping support to the accounts team
• General ad-hoc office duties
• This is a hands-on role, which will require you to work on your own or as a part of a team within the office in Austin Friars, EC2N 2QQ, there will be the possibility of 1 day a week remote working upon successful completion of the probationary period.
