What a fantastic evening! 🍾

We had a brilliant time at the The Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2025, where we were proud to be finalists for Employer of the Year.

We might not have won this time, but being recognised among so many outstanding businesses is something we’re incredibly proud of, especially in our centenary year.

It’s been wonderful to celebrate how far we’ve come and to reflect on what makes Duncan & Toplis such a great place to work: our people, our values, and our shared commitment to helping each other thrive.

Nothing but strikes and smiles! 🎳

To finish the week, a few of us headed to Gutterball in Lincoln for some friendly competition last Friday. There were plenty of strikes, lots of laughs, and maybe even a little healthy rivalry.

It’s always great to spend time together outside of work and enjoy a well-earned break.

We’re celebrating our CEO, Damon Brain, who marks 29 years with Duncan & Toplis.

Over nearly three decades, he’s played an important role in our journey – and for the past year and a half, he’s led the business as CEO, continuing to build on a century of progress.

A wild day out! 🦁🌿

As part of our centenary year 100-hours volunteering challenge, our Castlegate Financial Management and Duncan & Toplis teams swapped desks for DIY tools at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park – and what a day it was!

From painting to shovelling sand, they helped get a brand-new enclosure ready for one of the park’s latest arrivals, as well as giving some existing spaces a refresh.

The best bit? A behind-the-scenes tour where they got to meet some of the park’s most impressive residents up close! 🐯

Huge thanks to the amazing team at the park for letting our team be part of their incredible work – they loved every minute. 💙
