Meet Jordan, our very own financial whizz at Kirby & Knott Financial Planning. 🎉

With a passion for investing that rivals his love for football (and that’s saying something!), he’s our very own, in house, expert.

Jordan’s been hard at work alongside our adviser team, diving deep into financial products and crunching numbers like they’re goal statistics. Recently completed his Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning too! 🏆

When he’s not helping clients plan for their futures, you can find him on the pitch supporting Arsenal. (and been very modest about their recent league win)

🏆 We’ve been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year! 🏆

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Kirby & Knott Financial Planning has been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year at the 2026 Gloucestershire Business Awards.

With almost 300 entries received across the awards, to make the shortlist is a fantastic achievement and one we’re incredibly proud of.

Since launching Kirby & Knott in 2019, we’ve worked hard to build a business that puts people first, whether it's our clients, our team or the communities we’re part of. We’ve grown significantly along the way, but our focus has remained the same: providing trusted, personal and expert financial planning.

It's incredible what a bit of confidence can do for our lives.

We had a client come to us four years ago, feeling uncertain about retirement. Fast forward to now, and they’re living the dream!

Recently, they bought a motorhome and are biking through the stunning Pyrenees. That confidence they’ve built since we started planning? It’s allowed them to embrace every moment of this adventure fully, knowing that there assets are well looked after and sustainable for their individual plans.

Sometimes, we underestimate how much a solid financial plan can enhance our self-assurance and open up new possibilities.

After chatting with new clients, we often hear they wish they’d considered salary sacrifice for their pension earlier.

This option, offered by many employers, allows you to save on tax and National Insurance contributions, effectively boosting your retirement savings.

‘The team are very welcoming and are generous, not only with their time but their sharing of knowledge. Meet Emilie, our enthusiastic Client Services Co-ordinator, part the Kirby & Knott Financial Planning team since May 2025. Her vibrant energy and client-focused approach shine through in everything she does. With a rich background in various retail environments, she knows how to connect with clients on a personal level.

Emilie not only brings her professionalism to the team but also a sense of fun, having recently won the inaugural Kirby & Knott Christmas Bake Off!

Outside of work, you can find her either pounding the pavement as a keen runner or dancing her heart out. She’s also fluent in French and can whip up some excellent sourdough bread!
