Make a Splash with Sponsorship Opportunities.

As you will all know, our purpose is Making Lives Better and usually this is by helping business owners grow their business and taking care of your financial affairs so that you can spend more time doing what you love. We also want to continue helping local communities do what they love.

As such, we have been contacted by one of our clients who is Vice President of a swimming club, Inverclyde ASC, seeking sponsorship. The Club is in a pretty difficult position financially at the moment due to the perfect storm of losing one of their biggest sponsors, grant funding from the local council significantly reducing and monthly obligations far exceeding the income from members’ squad fees.

The Club has faced many challenges over the last few years, from a broken floor in the training pool to no diving blocks but are still managing to produce amazing results and currently have a British Age Group Champion within the squad and several others on the verge of national honours too.

With many businesses approaching their March 2025 year end this may present a great business tax planning opportunity with genuine sponsorship costs being an allowable expense for tax purposes.
