BIG update for anyone using their own vehicle for work... HMRC has increased the approved mileage rate by 10p per mile (the FIRST increase since 2011.)

🚗 Mileage rate rises from 45p → 55p per mile
📅 Backdated to 6th April 2026
💷 Potentially worth an extra £1,000 tax-free over 10,000 business miles

This is huge news for tradespeople, mobile businesses, and anyone regularly travelling for work.
