31 years ago Ian received this certification to confirm he had passed the 1st exam to qualify as a financial adviser, yes 31 years!
Although so much has changed over those 31 years his key messages to his clients has always remained consistent.

Build a plan and follow it.
Ignore the media noise, time in the market is always better than timing the market.
Use your annual Pension and ISA allowance.
Have a cash reserve of 3 - 6 months expenditure.
Review your plans at least annually with your adviser.
Financial Planning doesn’t have to be complex, although many think it does.
