What a fantastic start to 2026 it’s been for Steedman Accountants! 🥳
We kicked off the year with our busiest month, the January tax return deadline. It was fast-paced and full-on, but we’re incredibly grateful to be trusted by so many clients during such a critical time.
To celebrate a successful January, we treated the team to a well-deserved lunch at Amarone, a small thank you for the huge effort everyone put in. 😊
February has been just as productive. We’ve been back out networking, attending events with Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and taking part in the first Rising Star networking event of the year. Our team love these opportunities to connect with other professionals, strengthen relationships, and continue developing their communication skills.
On the sports front, the team competed in the first Business Fives Ltd tournament of the year, and won the Europa Conference League! 🎉 This means we’ve qualified for the national finals in Leeds. Even better, we raised an incredible amount for our chosen charity, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity. ⚽💙
We were also proud to attend the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Awards last Thursday, where our Director, Mark McLeod, was shortlisted for Director of the Year. While he didn’t take home the award, being recognised alongside so many accomplished professionals was an achievement in itself.
Internally, our Steedman Bake Off has wrapped up (winner to be announced soon 👀), and we’ve even had some fluffy office visitors, with Ozzy keeping everyone entertained over the past few months! 🐾
It’s been an energetic and rewarding start to the year, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
