Yesterday we joined the Fusion25 Conference to celebrate the new powerful collaboration between Engager.app and Taxcalc. The event was genuinely inspiring and it’s clear this partnership will play a key role in helping us deliver even smoother and more connected services for our clients.
A standout moment for me was being interviewed by Andy North CCO of Taxcalc.
Heading back to the office today full of ideas and excitement for what this means for the future of our firm.

Christine has been at the heart of Don Roper Accountant from the very beginning – quite literally. Her steady presence and behind-the-scenes support helped build the firm from the ground up. Without her, there simply wouldn’t be a business.

She keeps the office running like clockwork and is often the friendly face clients see when dropping off records – always ready with a warm smile and kind word.

Christine may work quietly in the background, but she’s the glue that holds us together.

Outside the office, she’s devoted to her family and takes huge pride in seeing the business flourish under Lisa’s leadership.

She’s a qualified Financial Advisor, an AAT member, and an expert at turning tax chaos into calm. Whether it’s Capital Gains Tax, Self Assessment, or an HMRC curveball, Clare brings deep technical knowledge and turns complex problems into clear, practical solutions.

Oh, and she runs a smallholding and competes in eventing. Yes, she’s amazing.
