If you have worked in an accounting firm before and know your way around VAT and accounts, we’d love to hear from you 👇

💼 What we are looking for:
• Experience working in a busy accounting practice
• Comfortable working with small to medium-sized businesses
• VAT knowledge + general accounts experience
• AAT (or similar) is a bonus, but not essential

What’s going on 🤔

We are busy ……. The first wave of Making Tax Digital (MTD) commences 6 April and we are busy planning, training and investing in all the necessary requirements for a smooth roll out and to ensure our clients are compliant.

We are making contact with the first of the clients that meet the criteria and working towards onboarding them.

If you are not a current Bee-Line client and think you may need support - please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We are also restructuring the dynamic of the business and this will improve the workflow from the start of the 2026 tax year - watch this space . Bee-Line is having a glow up 👌🏻

As always, every year we learn from the previous tax year to improve the next and to allow us to take on whatever comes our way. The team has had a year of being thrown curveballs and have handled them perfectly. Couldn’t be prouder of the whole of the Bee-Line team and all they bring to our table. They all work so hard and are a huge support and are not afraid to give their input in to how we can make things better.

We are still a little busy with other work at the moment and will be closing that off in time for the new tax year.

From April 2026, the government’s Making Tax Digital initiative comes into force.

If you earn over £50,000 from self-employment and/or property and PAYE income, you’ll be required to:
🧾 Keep digital records and
📤 Submit quarterly updates to HMRC (instead of one annual return)

If you’re close to or over the £50k threshold, now’s the time to get prepared 🐝
