Payroll requires accuracy, but apparently our Director Lorraine takes that very seriously! 🎯

At the latest Top Networking Dorset social, she revealed her hidden talent by scoring a perfect 10 hitting the bullseye during the rifle shooting challenge.

Safe to say we're all feeling pretty confident about our payroll calculations after that! 🏅

It was a fantastic time of networking, fun and friendly competition. Thanks to everyone there for a great event.

Good news for employees who use their own vehicles for business travel 🚗

On the 21st of May HMRC increased the tax-free mileage rate for cars and vans from 45p to 55p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles each tax year, backdated to 6 April 2026. Employers may need to update their mileage reimbursement and payroll procedures accordingly.
