If you are like me then life is moving at a crazy crazy pace.
Family, friends, work, rugby clubs, school runs, school clubs, you get the gist.
This morning I attended my daughters school mass. All the school were present and the church was brimming with people.

People that know me well know that I’m not a hugely religious person but I have strong beliefs and values and respect some of the beliefs and values that religion can bring.

Whilst I was there listening to the readings, the sermon and the beautiful singing I felt myself relaxing and starting to reflect.
It felt good.

So try and take some time for yourself, to reflect, to listen and think about how you can positively impact your family, friends, community and further.

Once a week I gather in the centre of Coventry with a group people that have become great friends. We all run our own business’ and help promote each other.
This week I would like to promote a superb lady young who runs a tutoring company Your Own Maths Teacher.
If you are looking for a tutor for your child then you cannot go wrong here. We use them for our daughter and the benefits and service are brilliant.

It’s that time of the week to assist friends who run their own business’s Baxter Baristas at 16 Hales Street and Steve Prime.
This week I want to share the brilliant Baxter Baristas coffee shop, located in the centre of Coventry. It’s a great place to cater for all.
So if you are visiting Coventry then this is the place to come for a coffee and or some food.
They also cater for outside events, food and a portable bar.

If a certain beer did weekends this would be up there.
Kicked off Saturday morning with my little girls Holy Communion, followed by presentation day at the rugby club for both Ellis and Lana, a bit of cake and celebrating with friends and family.
On Sunday another cracking day as we headed to the CBS to see City keep the crazy dream alive of possible promotion to the premier league.
Now time for some revision!!!

Just over a year ago I was asked to be a part of something new and something quite special. Fast forward to today and we launched the Blue Light Card Foundation at the home of Leicester tigers.
A room full of people came to hear about the future and how the foundation will assist the blue light community over the coming months and years.
I am truly honoured to be part of this journey with some truly wonderful people who have made this happen.

A full weekend of rugby. For some that might surprise you.
Down to Twickenham on Saturday to watch England v France. France were awesome and let’s leave it at that.
On Sunday down to my rugby club Keresley RFC. A full car park, all four pitches in use and the highlight watching my lads team the brilliant u14’s. They are a very inexperienced side and welcome all to the team. They haven’t won a game in two seasons, but they keep growing and growing and they smile so much and work so hard for each other.
Couldn’t be prouder of them all, finished off with a little man of the match also.
Here’s to all those teams that aren’t top of the leagues, don’t win every game but play the game as it’s supposed to be played.

The role of a big brother summed up in a photo. To help, protect, carry, have fun, share knowledge.
I saw this photo today in my memories and it made me think how lucky I am.
I also know that my role as a parent is varied.
One of my roles is to look after these two crazies in life or death.
Have you done the same?
Most of us will do and can do anything to look after our children whilst alive, but if you pass away the only way you can help is by leaving a financial legacy that can be propped up by the relevant insurances and protection.
