Hours: 30 hours per week to be worked Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm

At Coplow Business Support we are a friendly bookkeeping company, looking for an experienced and detail driven bookkeeper to join our growing team.
If you thrive in a busy practice environment, enjoy working closely with local business owners, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely financial work, this could be the perfect next step for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries

• Preparing and submitting VAT Returns, ensuring accuracy and meeting all deadlines

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Reconciling accounts, maintaining ledgers, and supporting year-end processes

• Communicating confidently with clients, building strong relationships, and offering clear, friendly guidance

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth, efficient workflows

Looking After Our Clients:

• Guiding our clients through their journey with us, from onboarding and initial setup to ongoing support and regular check-ins.

• Being proactive in problem solving

• Ensuring our clients feel supported, informed, and valued.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accountancy practice (this is essential)

• AAT qualified is preferred but not essential

• Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage

• A solid understanding of VAT requirements and deadlines

• Someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts

• Ability to work independently and manage workload

• A confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and supporting local business owners

I've been out on errands this morning and had to drive over Pendle Hill..

I just couldn’t resist stopping to take a quick photo because well, what a view - although the photo (or my camera skills 😅) really doesn’t do it any justice..

It really got me thinking and reminded me how lucky we are to live and work in such a beautiful place.

⭐️ We have some very exciting things happening at Coplow and on Monday when we came into our offices THIS was a lovely suprise 🤩

The awesome guys at Grafx had popped in to our offices to install our new sign and just look at it 😍

A HUGE thank you to Grafx - the new sign looks fantastic and the whole experience was brilliant from start to finish..

They were really hands-on and supportive throughout, Andrew came out to the office to see the space and talk everything through with us, what a great guy ☺️

We are absolutely delighted with how the sign has turned out – it looks soo good and exactly what we were hoping for 🙌
