“Horses were the life I thought I’d lost.”

After a life-changing accident, Attivo client Faye O’Hara stepped away from the world that had defined her.

Over time however, she rebuilt her independence and found a way back and is now working towards a place in the British para-driving squad for the Para National Championships this September.

With Luke Bennett, Chartered Lifestyle Financial Planner at Attivo supporting behind the scenes, Faye has been able to focus on what matters most. As she shared with Life Magazine:

“Living with a disability is expensive in ways people don’t always realise," says Faye, "having someone who understands that and helps you plan properly makes a huge difference.”

Can I afford to retire?

It is one of the most common questions, and one with no simple answer. Ben Sheward, Chartered Financial Planner at Attivo, puts it simply: “Retirement isn’t about a number, it’s about whether your money can support the life you want.”

Your calculated results do not take account of inflation, tax, or changes to legislation. Whether you have a shortfall or a surplus, this is just an example, and a financial planner can help you both save and grow your investments tax efficiently and ensure there is an appropriate plan to draw on your investments at retirement. Growth has been set at 5% for illustrative purposes only and this is not guaranteed. Attivo Financial Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Sandy and Bryan have structured their financial planning around one clear priority: bringing their family together.

With five sons and ten grandchildren, they vowed to take each family on safari, creating beautiful memories and time together. “They’ve caught the bug. That thrill is unforgettable. It’s part of our DNA.”

Their connection to Zambia remains an important part of their lives. They continue to support Play for All, a township project providing meals, care and safe play for children, while helping their grandchildren understand the world beyond their own.

With support from their Chartered Financial Planner, Sebastian Field, their planning is built around what matters most to them.

“Sebastian is attentive, personable, very friendly, and switched on to us,” says Bryan. Sandy continues, “He doesn’t make assumptions. It’s intelligent conversation that we can understand as not being financial planners.”

Managing complex finances doesn’t have to mean doing it all yourself.

As Attivo client Jonny Stone shared in our newest edition of Life Magazine:

“Even though I’m a finance guy, I don’t want to spend my life poring over the business pages. I needed someone to give me suggestions to discuss – that’s what Attivo does for me.”

With multiple moving parts across investments, ventures and lifestyle, Tony Clark, Associate Director at Attivo, provides the clarity and structure that lets Jonny focus on what matters. From his role as Chair and principal cellist of the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra to his start-up business interests and beyond.
