📅 Please don't leave your Self Assessment tax return until the last minute!

We know… January seems like a long way away. But Christmas has a habit of sneaking up on us! 🎄

If you haven't already done your tax return, why not aim to get it done before Christmas?

✔️ You'll know exactly how much tax you need to pay
✔️ You'll have time to budget for the payment
✔️ You won't be scrambling for paperwork in January
✔️ And most importantly… you can enjoy the Christmas holidays without worrying about your tax return! 🎅

here's something you might not realise…

At McMillan Rose , we actually ask all of our clients to provide us with their tax return information by 31st August.

Why? Because we want to make sure we have plenty of time to prepare your return, deal with any queries, and get it back to you well before the January deadline.

And remember — your accountant has lots of clients with exactly the same deadline! 😅 Imagine if everyone waited until the last few weeks of January to send their information in… we'd all be working under huge pressure, with very little time to deal with any queries or unexpected issues.

One thing we pride ourselves on at McMillan Rose is our staff work-life balance.❤️

We believe that our team should be able to finish work at the end of the day and enjoy their evenings and weekends — which is why you will never receive an email from us outside of our office hours.
