As we continue to tell the story of 25 years at Dalmar House, we are looking at the people, opportunities and ambition that have shaped David Allen along the way.

When Dalmar House was built, it was created with the future in mind, giving the business room to grow, welcome new people and create new opportunities.

John Pinske became part of that story when he joined David Allen at 18 as an Accounts Apprentice. Seventeen years later, he is now an Accounts Manager, supporting our clients and helping others develop their own careers. His journey reflects the opportunity that growth has created at David Allen, the chance to learn, take on new challenges, build knowledge and progress, while being supported by the people around you.

John joined a growing business and has grown with it. Today, he is helping to pass that same support and opportunity on to the next generation.

Late payments can have a significant impact on cash flow, making it harder for businesses to plan, invest and grow.

Where no payment terms have been agreed, a commercial debt is generally deemed overdue 30 days after the customer receives the invoice, or 30 days after the goods or services have been provided if this is later. Once a debt becomes overdue, businesses may be entitled to claim statutory interest of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, unless a different rate has been agreed within the contract.
