Well this is a nice way to start the month
We had a lovely email last week from BuryFree Press letting us know we have been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year!
We are striving to deliver THE best service, and make a real impact on business owners lives. We are aiming to be SO much more than just Accountants.

And to be recognised locally goes such a long way for our team.

What a month!

Summer is well and truly on its way out, but we’ve certainly made the most of the last stretch of it over here at Abbeygate!

From team days out and welcoming new clients, to settling in new team members and even getting stuck into some social content shoots... it’s been a busy one, but a really great month to look back on - in fact our best ever!!!

And September is shaping up to be just as exciting, with a brand new event in the works, lots happening with our Xero partnership, the sector flying and plenty more in the pipeline.

We can’t wait to share more with you!

Meet Jess!

Jess is our incredible apprentice at Abbeygate, and she has been with us for almost two years now!

Jess is absolutely thriving in her apprenticeship and has truly been an asset to our team.

One thing we’re passionate about at Abbeygate is giving our team the chance to excel and reach new goals. Jess is no stranger to this, showing us all how it’s done!

Learning new things each week, taking on new challenges and even teaching us all a thing or two… she really is great.

We look forward to seeing Jess’s journey with us continue and can’t wait to share it all with you!

It’s a woman’s world!

We have one month to go until our very first celebratory, Women in Business event in September!

We’ve always believed that business is better when we have a community around us, people to celebrate the wins with, learn from, support us through the challenges and inspire us to keep going in this crazy world of business we are in.

That’s exactly what we want to create with this event. A space for women in business to come together, meet one another, share experiences and, most importantly, celebrate just how far we’ve all come, with a night full of laughs, conversation and a drink or two - wine tasting with a female led vinyard
