Stand With Kernos – Because Mental Health Support Should Be for Everyone
Small charities may not have the biggest platforms or budgets, but they have heart, dedication, and a deep understanding of the people they serve.
Right now, small charities like Kernos Centre are under more pressure than ever:
- Cost of living crisis
- Rising demand for services
- Tough competition for funding
Kernos receives no NHS or government funding, every counselling session is only possible because of donations, grants, and community support. If someone can’t afford to pay, we never turn them away. For many people in Babergh, Kernos is the only place they can turn.
This year, two amazing people are taking on huge challenges to raise money for Kernos:
🏃 David – walking 50 kilometres in one day
🪂 Jade (my daughter) – taking to the skies for a charity skydive
How You Can Help:
- Donate if you can, every pound really does make a difference.
- Share this post so more people hear about Kernos.

Your support keeps our doors open. It means we can say “yes” to someone who is struggling. It means we can be there when it matters most.
