Staying the Course Amid Market Volatility

The recent turbulence in the stock market has understandably left many investors feeling uneasy. Headlines can be alarming, and it’s natural to feel concerned when markets swing.

But this is a timely reminder that successful investing isn’t about timing the market – it’s about time in the market.

Over the years, markets have faced countless challenges – economic downturns, geopolitical tensions, inflation scares – and yet, they’ve consistently rewarded long-term investors who stayed the course.

Now is not the time to panic. Reacting emotionally to short-term movements can lead to long-term regrets. Staying focused on your personal goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon remains the wisest course of action.

It’s International Men’s Day, a time to celebrate the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. It’s also a day to highlight male health and wellbeing. In recognition, we hosted a range of sessions for our community this week to help them and the men in their lives to look after their mental wellbeing, from workshops on managing stress to running talk clubs – a safe place to share and be heard. International Men’s Day is a great opportunity to raise awareness around male health and wellbeing, but we know it’s important to continue conversations, and we are committed to supporting our people year-round.
