Meet Chris 👋

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Chris, one of our Finance Assistants.

Chris plays an important role within the ViFi team, supporting our clients with their day-to-day finances and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

He's reliable, approachable and always willing to help, whether that's supporting a client or lending a hand to a colleague.

But here's something you might not know about him...

Outside of work, Chris serves as a Town Councillor in Thornbury.

Whilst most people spend their evenings switching off after work, Chris chooses to dedicate some of his time to helping improve and support his local community.

It's a role that requires commitment, responsibility and a genuine desire to make a positive difference, all qualities that we see in him every day at ViFi too.

One of the things we appreciate most about Chris is that he genuinely cares about people. Whether that's helping clients, supporting the team or serving his local community, he's always looking for ways to contribute and make things better.

We're incredibly lucky to have him as part of the team.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Leila, one of our Senior Finance Assistants.

Leila plays an important role in supporting our clients with their day-to-day finances, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Whether she's working on bookkeeping, management information or supporting the wider team, Leila brings a calm, positive attitude and a real willingness to help wherever needed.

She's dependable, hardworking and someone both clients and colleagues enjoy working with.

But here's something you might not know about her...

Leila once jumped out of a plane. ✈️

Yes, voluntarily.

Whilst most of us are quite happy keeping our feet firmly on the ground, Leila decided to throw herself out of an aircraft and experience a skydive.

Thankfully, it was entirely planned.

It takes a certain level of courage to step out of your comfort zone and embrace something completely new, and that's something we see in Leila professionally too.

She's always willing to take on new challenges, learn new skills and support wherever the team needs her.

One of the things we value most about Leila is her positive attitude. No matter what's on her plate, she approaches it with professionalism, enthusiasm and a smile.

Meet Ryan Steele 👋

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Ryan, our Senior Credit Control Manager.

Ryan plays a key role across the entire Streets group, helping businesses stay on top of one of the most important aspects of running a successful business: getting paid.

From managing debtor ledgers and chasing overdue invoices to helping improve cash flow, Ryan works with clients and teams across the group to ensure money keeps moving through businesses as it should.

He's approachable, persistent and never afraid to pick up the phone when needed, which is exactly what makes him so effective in his role.

But here's something you might not know about him...

Before joining the world of finance, Ryan was once a competitive gamer 🎮

Not just someone who enjoyed the odd game after work, but someone who took it seriously and competed at a high level.

Whilst the gaming days may be mostly behind him now, many of the skills still shine through today.

Competitive gaming demands focus, patience, quick thinking and the ability to stay calm under pressure. All qualities that serve him well when dealing with challenging credit control situations and helping businesses protect their cash flow.

One of the things we value most about Ryan is his ability to build relationships whilst still getting results. Credit control isn't just about collecting money. It's about communication, consistency and helping businesses maintain healthy cash flow without damaging customer relationships.

Whether he's supporting a client in Bristol, Brighton, Exeter or anywhere else across the Streets group, Ryan brings the same energy, professionalism and determination to every conversation.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Stacey, our Accounts & Tax Manager.

Stacey has been part of the journey for many years and is one of those people who clients and colleagues know they can rely on.

Whether she's reviewing accounts, dealing with complex tax matters or supporting the team, Stacey brings a huge amount of knowledge, experience and attention to detail to everything she does.

She's also played an important role in the growth of the business over the years, helping us evolve from a small practice into the team we have today.

But here's something you might not know about her...

Stacey is a huge Spice Girls fan 🎤

We're not talking about owning a CD or two.

She's seen them live multiple times and proudly admits she still knows all the words.

It's probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of an Accounts & Tax Manager, but that's exactly why we love sharing these stories.

Behind every spreadsheet, tax return and client meeting is a real person with their own passions, interests and personality.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Ryan, one of the Directors and Co-Founders of ViFi.

Ryan has played a huge role in shaping the business into what it is today.
With experience spanning Big Four accountancy, large global organisations and growing businesses, he brings a wealth of commercial and financial expertise to both our clients and our team.

If you've worked with Ryan, you'll know he's passionate about helping business owners understand their numbers, make better decisions and achieve their goals.

But here's something you might not know about him...

Ryan is also a qualified FA referee ⚽

Which, when you think about it, makes a lot of sense.

Whether he's helping a business owner navigate an important decision or officiating a football match, Ryan has a knack for staying calm under pressure, making fair decisions and keeping things moving in the right direction.

One of the things I've always admired about Ryan is his ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.

As a business partner and co-founder, he's been instrumental in building ViFi and supporting our clients over the years.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we'd like to introduce Harry, our Head of Client Relationships.

If you've worked with ViFi, there's a good chance you've spoken to Harry.

He's passionate about looking after our clients, building relationships and making sure businesses get the support they need from our team. Whether it's helping solve a problem, answering a question or simply checking in, Harry is always focused on delivering a great client experience.

But here's something you might not know about him...

Alongside his role at ViFi, Harry also owns a traditional sweet shop in Bath 🍬

Not many people can say they spend their time helping business owners grow their companies whilst also running a sweet shop!

It probably tells you everything you need to know about Harry. He's entrepreneurial, hardworking and always willing to get stuck in.

One of the things we value most about Harry is the energy he brings to the team. He genuinely cares about our clients and is always looking for ways to improve their experience and strengthen relationships.

Meet Sally 👋

Sally is our Office Manager, but she's also something else.

She's Ben's mum.

When I started the business, Sally was there from day one. She's watched the firm grow from a small start-up into the team and business we have today, and throughout that journey she's been a constant source of support, organisation and encouragement.

Many of our clients know Sally Steele already. If you've called the office, needed help or visited us over the years, chances are you've spoken to her.

One thing you might not know about Sally is her love of poppies 🌺

They hold a special place in her heart because her late mum loved them too.

They remind Sally of her every day and still mean a great deal to her.

In fact, if you ever visit the office, you'll probably spot a few poppies behind her desk.

Family has always been a huge part of this business, and Sally is a big reason why we've been able to build what we have today.

For this Right at Home franchisee, increasing demand meant more pressure on payroll, cash flow, and day-to-day financial management.
