Today the spreadsheets are taking a back seat as we celebrate the lady behind LilyIris Accounting.

Sam spends her days helping business owners stay organised, understand their numbers and avoid those last-minute accounting panics that nobody enjoys!

She's the queen of Xero, lover of a well-organised spreadsheet and the person you want in your corner when your accounts need a little TLC.

Due to continued expansion, LilyIris Accounting is looking for an Accountant to join our Business Services Team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys a varied workload, thrives in a busy environment and wants to be part of a friendly, dynamic team.

The role will include:

✔ Day-to-day bookkeeping
✔ Credit control
✔ Fixed asset accounting
✔ Period end adjustments
✔ CIS returns
✔ VAT returns
✔ Producing management accounts
✔ Regular client communication
✔ Other ad hoc duties as required

We're looking for someone with:

✔ A minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accounting practice
✔ Excellent attention to detail
✔ A minimum AAT Level 3 qualification
✔ Good knowledge of Xero and/or FreeAgent
✔ Strong IT skills
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

📍 Based in Chipping Sodbury
🏡 Hybrid working - 50% office based, 50% home working
🕒 Full-time position

We Are Recruiting 🎉

Due to continued expansion we are recruiting for an accountant to join our businesses services team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
*Day to day bookkeeping including processing purchase and sales invoices and bank reconciliation
*Credit control
*Accounting for fixed assets
*Recording period end adjustments
*Preparing and filing CIS returns
*Preparing and filing VAT returns
*Producing management accounts
*Communicating with clients regularly
*Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Skills and knowledge
*Minimum of 2 years working in an accounting practice
*Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Minimum AAT level 3 qualification
*Good understanding of Xero and/or FreeAgent
*Strong IT literacy

Our offices are based in Chipping Sodbury and 50% of the hours will be worked in the office
