✨Are you tracking these expenses in your business?!
It’s easy to hit “purchase” or sign up for a subscription payment and forget to record it. But not keeping track of how much you are spending on home office expenses means you could be paying more tax than you need to! 💰
Side note - this is why it’s important to separate your personal from business expenses and reconcile your accounts each month so you don’t miss anything 😉
Here are examples of some home office expenses that you don't want to forget:
💲Stationery
💲Printing costs (including postage, the printer and ink cartridges)
💲Utilities (such as electricity, heating and water bills)
💲Phone, mobile & internet bills
💲Office furniture (e.g. your desk, a comfy desk chair!)
💲New equipment like your desktop or laptop
💲Educational books or training courses
💲Subscriptions (like your website host fee, domain, canva…)
