Did you know that Independent Examination is Burton Sweet's most popular charity and civil society service?

According to a recent client survey, most of our charity clients have come to us for this service because we are specialists in providing rigorous assessments of accounts when reporting to the Charity Commission.

Did you know that there are nearly a million charity trustees in England, making incredible contributions every day to their local communities?

Because of all that hard work, we’re saying a big thank you to local trustees and charity organisations with a free drinks reception on Monday, 9th of November at St George’s Bristol.

While we’re unlikely to get nearly a million of us in that room, we would be delighted if you joined us for an evening of insightful conversations with people passionate about their communities.

We had a lot of fun at Burton Sweet's annual Sports Day!

The teams from Bristol, Dursley, Shepton Mallet, Frome, and Weston-Super-Mare turned up with their trainers laced tight and ready to go for an afternoon of welly wanging, wheelbarrow races, rounders, egg-and-spoon races, and more. It was often a close match - at one point, we had to consult the VAR (a.k.a. a mobile phone video) to determine the winner of the wheelbarrow race.

With lots of laughs and impressive feats of athleticism, it was a lovely way to cap off a great summer.

Well done to everyone who joined in, and a big thank you to the organisers!
