Yesterday, our team had the pleasure of attending the Xero Roadshow 2025 - an inspiring day filled with insights, innovation and connection.
We explored the latest updates from Xero, including exciting developments in automation, AI-driven efficiencies, and smarter ways to deliver even more value to our clients. It was also fantastic to network with other professionals and app partners who share our passion for transforming the way businesses manage their finances.
A big thank-you to the Xero team for hosting such an engaging event - and to everyone we met for the great conversations and ideas.

📣 MTD for Income Tax is Coming — Are You Ready? 🧾

From April 2026, if you’re self-employed or a landlord with total gross annual income over £50,000, you’ll need to follow the new Making Tax Digital (MTD) rules.

✅ Paper records? Out.
✅ Annual tax returns? Replaced.
✅ You’ll need to keep digital records and submit quarterly updates to HMRC through MTD-compatible software.

⚠️ This isn’t optional — it’s a legal requirement being rolled out by HMRC.
And from April 2027, the threshold drops to £30,000!

• Find out if you’re affected
• Get set up with MTD-compatible software
• Decide whether you want to do it yourself or get help from your accountant.
