We are so happy to be a part of this lovely ladies journey! Sarah is truly inspiring and puts so much of her love and heart into her business (although I don’t think that’s the right word for something someone is so passionate about!)

It’s been an honour to see it grow and we couldn’t be more excited for Sarah and the SEN-ED Kitchen team 💕 show this amazing lady some love and watch this space 👀

We are so excited to share that we have found a home for our Post-16 provision and community café! ☕💛

This next chapter will create opportunities for young people to develop independence, confidence and employability skills, while also providing a welcoming space for our wider community to connect.

And there’s more…

We are also very close to securing a home for our Early Years provision, bringing us one step closer to creating a place where children and young people can be supported from their earliest years right through to adulthood. 🌿

As part of this, we'd love to explore offering a social café and stay & play sessions – relaxed, inclusive spaces where families can connect, children can play, and everyone feels welcome.

PAYE workers – quick tip 👋

If HMRC sends you a tax code change, don’t assume it’s been done.
We often see that employers do not apply tax code updates, which is the main cause of people paying the wrong tax.

✅ Send any tax code change to your employer
✅ Ask them to confirm it’s been updated

Just because they receive it doesn’t always mean they action it.

It’s been a really productive week this week with lots of new client meetings with some really lovely people and catching up with some of our long standing customers ❤️

We are in the process of updating our practice management software so are a little behind on emails and proposals. We intend on having an admin afternoon on Sunday to catch up so will get back to everyone then.

It’s here! MTD is live and Hmrc are sharing this guide to help sole traders and landlords on their way! But did you know you can actually still submit your bookkeeping via a spreadsheet to your accountant every quarter and they can submit it on your behalf!? You don’t have to sign up to using your own digital software!

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is just over 2 weeks away now. Don't get beat by the tax-woman. This new legislation applies to Sole Traders and Landlords with £50k or more turnover (not profit).
