This week, we are due to hit record-breaking temperatures and we know that kids will seek out open water to cool down.

Please spend just a few minutes discussing these three points with them - it could save their life:

🌊 Explain the dangers of open water and encourage them to only visit lifeguarded beaches.
⭐ Ensure they know how to float, instead of thrash if they get into difficulty. The RNLI has excellent information on Float to Live.
📱 Remind them to never go in the water to rescue someone else - instead call 999 and use the what3words app to mark their location.

The more people who see this message, the less people we hope will get into difficulty.
