19th May 2026 - “Net-Walking” Event

The wet weather certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits yesterday, when one of our Partners, Adam Syddall, teamed up with Ian Williamson and other colleagues from Campbell Crossley & Davis insolvency and business recovery specialists for their annual “net-walking” day, this year amongst the spectacular scenery of Settle, Attermire and Warrendale Knotts.

Once again led by the brilliant Mark at TeamWalking - Hill Skills & Outdoor Adventures, with Mark Reid FRGS, it was an incredible day of adventure, exploration and education, as well as a valuable opportunity for developing and strengthening business relationships.

Thank you to all involved for making this hugely enjoyable event such a success!

Viral Meningitis Awareness Week: 6th-12th May

One of our Partners, Matthew Collins took part in the 2nd Annual Mark Leather Charity Golf Day at Sedbergh Golf Club at the start of the weekend in aid of Meningitis Now, the UK’s largest meningitis charity.

Teaming up with clients, associates and acquaintances, it was a glorious day of golf, sunshine and spectacular scenery and most importantly, an amazing opportunity to spread awareness and raise virtual funds for this disease.

No this isn’t an April Fools! Making Tax Digital will be mandatory for all sole traders and landlords, who will need to report their income and expenses quarterly to HMRC digitally using compatible software.

From the 6th April, Making Tax Digital applies to you if:

* You have a total income from self-employment, or property, or both combined, of more than £50,0000
