CHANGE OF DATE – The Big Leicester Paw Festival will now take place on Saturday 12 September!

With thunderstorms and lightning currently forecast for this weekend, we’ve made the decision to move The Big Leicester Paw Festival to Saturday 12 September.

We know the weather can change, but with lots of people, dogs and other pets due to join us, we need to make the call now so everyone has plenty of notice and we can make sure the festival is a safe and enjoyable day for all.

George might have to wait a little longer to see all his friends, but he’s looking forward to catching up with everyone on the 12th! Paws out! 🐶🐾

🎨 WE'RE HOSTING AN ART WINDOW! 🎨

We're beyond proud (and rather excited!) to be taking part in Harborough Artist Cluster 's Art Windows 2026 this September, hosting an Art Window from our new Mr Tax branch in the heart of Market Harborough for the rather lovely Jo McChesney.

It's a first for us, and we're delighted to be getting involved with the town's fantastic local art scene and wider community. Because while we're usually found surrounded by numbers, spreadsheets and tax returns... we do appreciate a bit of creativity too!

💍 A Very Special Celebration! 💍

Last weekend, we had a rather lovely reason to put down the calculators, step away from the spreadsheets and get properly dressed up...

Our lovely Kelsey married Owen! 🥂❤️

The Mr Tax team were delighted to join them for the evening celebrations, and what a fantastic night we had. There was plenty of laughter, dancing, good food, a few drinks and, most importantly, lots of celebrating with two very special people.

We couldn't resist sharing a couple of photos of the couple while we wait for the all-important group photo... the photographic evidence that an entire room of accountants really did let their hair down! 😂

Kelsey and Owen, we hope you had the most wonderful wedding day and wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

⚽ Good luck for the new season, Lutterworth Athletic Football Club! ⚽

As proud members of the club's Business Club, it was great to see Steve popping over recently to add the Mr Tax logo to the sponsors' wall... and then finding himself in the match programme too! 📖😊

We're always pleased to support local organisations that bring our communities together, and grassroots football is no exception. From the players and volunteers to everyone working behind the scenes, it takes a real team effort.

We'd like to wish everyone at Lutterworth Athletic FC the very best for the season ahead. Here's hoping for plenty of goals, great football and a successful year both on and off the pitch.
