Things you probably don’t know about me…..

“I joined the RAF
..then 2 car crashes later I met my husband.

I can’t bend my ring finger from those crashes.

I never cook, ever. That’s Chris’s job. I can do fajitas or a jacket potato but that’s it.

I don’t look after our own personal finances (I do enough looking at everyone elses)

I used to be notorious for booking tickets to events and then never go. They sounded like a good idea at the time but then... no thank you.

I used to be an online fitness coach before I started Harmony Accounting

I can’t eat eggs since having my two girls they make me sick!

I once got kicked off karoke in Spain with my bestie (yes we were terrible)

I really like Belted Galloway cows, look how cute.

I’m a shopaholic (but you may have known that!)

I’ve got tattoos but they’re all hidden (unless I’m in workout gear)

I don’t have a turnover goal, I have life goals. Being able to take my family on holiday, go to every school play and never work a full week.

I’ve got 244 accountancy clients (and growing!)

You don’t need to have all of this figured out on your own.

This is the kind of support we’re building behind the scenes every day.

So you can feel calm, clear, and actually in control of your money.

“I messed up and hired my first full-time employee too late.

I’m an accountant with over 240 clients and had a team of 5 associates helping me support them.

I happened to be using my employee cost template for a client and a lightbulb went off.

Funnily enough, I realised needed to check the numbers for my own team... andI could afford this too.

I went to my cashflow, plugged the numbers in and realised I definitely could.

Not only do I get more hours for the same cost but I also only have to communicate with one person.

I love having a full time employee too because they do more than just client delivery.

They help with making the business better, whether that’s a new template, new system or improving client experience.

Plus when you hire any employee you save employers national insurance which is over £1000.

If you’ve got multiple freelancers or associates supporting you right now, maybe it’s time to figure out if an employee would be a better investment.”

I’m Sam! I’m an Chartered Accountant and Financial Strategist (with a focus on Profit) for female service-providers running online businesses.

I’m based in Durham, England.

I left the corporate finance world, which I had 18 years of experience in, to start my accounting practice in 2022, and I’ve never looked back!

I am a mum to two wee girls (Sophia 6 and Georgie 4) and wife to Chris.

I have over 150 clients currently plus a full-time team member.

I’m big on personal development books and podcasts.

You’ll find me working out most mornings.

I love clothes and shopping! My Chanel bag is my baby.

I want to focus on the fun stuff, while I take care of their accounting.

Running my own business means I am able to take time off to spend time with my family and live the lifestyle I choose.

I hate when female founders feel uncomfortable, shy or stupid asking their accountant a question (never in my world).

You won’t catch me using big words and financial jargon - because this doesn’t help anyone!

I also hate talking to HMRC (everyone does, you’re not alone)

I pride myself that all of my clients sleep better and sell more with confidence because of my support.

This is your final reminder that 25% off my template shop ends on 28th February.

And I genuinely don’t want you missing it if you’ve been thinking about it.

Because the women who’ve already bought these didn’t do it because they love spreadsheets.

They did it because they’re done feeling unsure.

Done checking their bank balance and hoping it’s fine.
Done wondering what they can pay themselves.
Done feeling slightly nervous every time tax is mentioned.

These templates are tools.

They help you:

– See where your money is actually going
– Understand what your business really made
– Plan ahead instead of reacting
– Pay yourself properly
– Make hiring decisions with clarity

Not in a complicated way.
Not in an accountant-y way.

In a clear, “I finally get this” way.

This matters because guessing creates stress.

Clarity creates confidence.

The code CLARITY25 gives you 25% off.

But only until the end of February.

After that, the price goes back to normal.

No countdown timers.
No drama.

Just a window to decide.

If you’ve been meaning to sort your finances properly, this is your nudge.

Link’s in my bio or comment CLARITY and I will send it across 🤍

I don’t just tell clients to plan ahead.

I do it in my own business too.

From April 2026, dividend tax rates are due to increase.

So this year, I’m being intentional.

I’m reviewing:
– how much profit the company has
– what reserves we need to keep
– what I can extract efficiently
– and what makes sense personally

Not in a dramatic way.

Not in a “quick, take all the money out” way.

In a calm, strategic way.

Because this is what understanding your numbers allows you to do.

Plan.

Instead of reacting later and thinking,
“I wish I’d looked at that sooner.”

This isn’t about avoiding tax.

It’s about making informed decisions within the rules.

And this is exactly why I’m so big on clarity.

When you know:
– what’s coming
– what your options are
– and what your numbers are telling you

You can move intentionally.

That’s CEO energy.

And that’s what I want for the women I work with too.

If you’re a limited company director and haven’t reviewed your dividend strategy recently, now is a very good time to.

Clarity now means fewer regrets later 🤍
