We’re hiring!
We are looking for a team of people aged 18-25yo to be invigilators for the epic upcoming exhibition New Pop Max by internationally renowned artist Bruce Asbestos. 🐙
The exhibition is being brought to Newhaven’s Marine Workshops later this month by , the team behind the 2024 Supergraphics Festival. 👀

Build your skills and gain gallery experience. You’ll start with a training session from on Saturday 19th April (1-4pm) and then provide paid invigilation sessions in the exhibition. These will mainly be on Thursdays, between 24th April - 6th June.
At the training session, you’ll explore the knowledge and skills required to effectively engage with audiences, uphold gallery restrictions and foster meaningful discussions around contemporary art, plus there will a guided tour of the exhibition.
Your main responsibilities while invigilating will be:
Ensuring artworks are kept safe
Welcoming and assisting visitors
Providing information about the exhibition
Assisting with the general running of the gallery space
You don’t need to have experience, just an interest in art, a willingness to learn and to be available for the training session on 19th April. Please contact [email protected] to apply by 12pm Thursday 10th April.
£12.60 p/h (Brighton living wage) £37.80/shift
Shift rota will be negotiated on application
